How it works
From a messy drawer to a list you can trust
Go through the cabinet once. After that, add new boxes as you buy them.
Add each box
Scan the barcode or type the name, then add the dosage or strength, the form and how many you have. A photo of the pack helps you find it later.
Keep medicine separate
Medicine lives in its own module, with its own categories — Pain relief, Cold & flu, Vitamins & supplements, First aid — and places like “Medicine cabinet”.
Hear about it early
Set a reminder up to 3 months ahead, or your own period, so there is time to replace a box before it runs out of date.

Vitamins and supplements
Track the expiry date and how many packs you have, and mark them as used as you go, so you know when to buy the next one.
First aid kits
Plasters, antiseptic and burn gel expire too. Add a storage place for each kit — home, car, travel bag — and check them all in one list.
Reminders months ahead
A medication expiration reminder is only useful if it comes early. Pick 1 or 3 months ahead, or a custom period, per product.
Opened bottles and drops
Some products only last a set time after opening. Mark them as opened, add the use-within period from the leaflet, and Xpiry follows the earlier date.
Private by default
Your list stays in a database on your phone. Backup to your own Google Drive is optional, and your products are never shared with ad networks.
A reminder tool, not medical advice
Xpiry remembers the dates you enter and tells you when they are close. It does not know whether a medicine is still safe or effective, and it is not a substitute for a pharmacist or doctor. If a medicine has expired, or you are unsure, ask a pharmacist before taking it.
When it is time to throw medicine away, do it safely. The FDA recommends a drug take-back option first — many pharmacies accept unused medicines — and explains when flushing or household trash is appropriate in Disposal of Unused Medicines: What You Should Know. FAQ
Medicine tracking questions
Can Xpiry scan the expiry date from a medicine box?
No. Many medicine packs — including prescription medicines in the EU — carry a square 2D code that does contain the expiry date, but Xpiry does not read it. Scan to add the product fast, then type or pick the printed date once. Our barcode guide shows how to read that date yourself.
How far ahead can I be reminded?
Built-in reminders go from 1 day to 3 months before the date. You can add your own in days, weeks or months, choose which reminders apply to each product, and pick the hour notifications arrive.
Can I use it as a supplement expiry tracker?
Yes. Vitamins & Supplements is one of the medicine categories. Track the date and how many you have, and mark some of them as used when you open the next pack.
What should I do with expired medicine?
Do not take it without asking a pharmacist. For disposal, use a take-back option such as a participating pharmacy; the FDA's disposal guidance covers the other options.
Is my medicine list shared with anyone?
No. It is stored on your phone. If you turn on backup, it goes to your own Google Drive, in a hidden app-data folder. See the Privacy Policy for details.
